alterd & that because He was a Provincial
Majestrate people would blame him in perticular to encourage such a
thing so we look our leave of Him, & went Hei our
way, He wishing us well. He took nothing for our lodging & victuals, but we paid
6/- for own ferryage, as soon as we came on the
patomick into virginia , our
Hearts was Heavy, B. sCristian askd me how it was with me, I told him & He s d so to, , but I thought it was on Acct. of our disapointment we remembred & it was made out in our Hearts
that we were, wrote on the Hearts of the
Congregation & that it was not of x our own wills we came, but the Lambs & his Blood b r ought Church, who sent us on this errant,
therefore we encouragd, one the other, for tho we are 2 poor children yet we rest on
them. Crossd Mosses ferry & at lay at
a poor mans House, who gave us, what He had to eat. Saturday 12 Came to
