A young and eager student visits the White House for the first time. Upon arriving to D.C., he meets with the President during an internship in the Pentagon. Upon meeting the President... [[The intern dislikes the President]] [[The intern likes the President]]The President greets the intern with a hardy hello. The President: "Hello there, how are you?" The intern responding: [["Oh, hey I'm okay, how are you sir?"]] (Hiding his dislike in a melancholy tone) [["Yea, what's up? I'm just dandy."]] (Taking sarcastic tone with the President) The President greets the intern with a hardy hello. The President: "Hello there, how are you?" The intern responding: [["I am doing well sir, thank you for asking. And how are you?"]]The President: "I heard you were working very hard to secure the job you want." The intern: [["I thought, I'd give it a try"]] [["Eh, No "biggie", so how are you and 'ol Michelle doing?"]]The President astonished with the intern's reply states: "I think you need to work on your speaking abilities before you can converse with someone like me." The President kindly dismisses himself. THE ENDThe President: "Very good, thanks for asking. Have you ever seen the Oval Office?" The Intern responds: [["No I haven't...but I would love too!"]]The President is taken back by this unusual answer and excuses himself from the intern's presence. [[The intern is shocked and angered that the President left.]] [[The intern is throwing a party because the President left.]](Both exit the building) The President leads the intern to the Oval Office. The intern wants to do something nice for the president so he asks to hold the door open for him. The intern: [["Wait Mr. President; let me get that door for you."]] The intern opening the door for the President, accidentally loses his grip and hits the President. Intern: [["I'm so sorry Mr. President. I sincerely appologize for that. I lost grip of the handle. I hope you can forgive me."]] [["Oh shoot, sorry."]]The President responds to the polite apology stating: "It's quite alright." They both enter the Oval Office with smiles on their faces. THE ENDThe President responds to the impolite/informal apology stating: "Oh, I think the Office is a little messy, but I'll show you the kitchen?" The intern confused, agrees anyway. THE ENDThe intern acted very nonchalant about his ethics; thus, the President assumed he had no motivation and was bored with the conversation. The intern does not understand that the President has little time to "small-talk," therefore he should have been fully involved with the conversation. THE END(ALTERNATE ENDING) The intern was trying to get rid of the President all along. He didn't want to come into contact with the President and was glad to see he had left. THE ENDThe President reprimands the intern and tells him that he should learn manners. The intern, unscathed from his order, excuses himself from the Presient's presence. The President is fine with this act because he does not want to talk to the intern either. Both part their ways. THE END
