Please bring presentation materials to a symposium organizer by 8 am (morning talks) or 1 pm (afternoon talks). Formats that can be accommodated include Powerpoint (saved for Microsoft operating system) or overheads. Powerpoint presentations should be on CD and flash drive (memory stick).
Speakers are asked to plan presentations to stay within the allotted time limits, which will be absolutely adhered to. E.g., if you are asked to give a 10-minute talk (click here for a schedule), that includes opening a Powerpoint presentation, 20-second introduction of the speaker, the body of the talk, and, if time, questions and answers. Note that there will be additional time for Q&A after some of the oral session topics.
Speakers are not expected to pay the registration fee.
