Biography

Scott Bevan is graduating from Bucknell University in May 2010 with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and minor in International Relations. He is part of the senior design team working on the third version of the robotic vision platform. One of Scott’s focuses during the project involved implementing 3D (stereoscopic) vision for the robot operator. Scott previously collaborated with Professor Steve Shooter on an unrelated camera stabilization senior design project in Spring 2008.

During his four years at Bucknell, Scott worked as an engineering student consultant to various clients at the Small Business Development Center (SBDC), performing all aspects of design, testing, and evaluation. He also completed internships with Jet Plastica Industries and GE Transportation where he worked on a number of mechanical, materials, process, and quality engineering projects. Following graduation, he plans on working for the Quality Engineering and System Assurance group of the US Army at Picatinny Arsenal.
