Biography

Matthew Kandler is a Mechanical Engineering major at Bucknell University graduating in the class of 2010. He has been working on the various aspects of this project since the spring semester 2008 with Professor Keith Buffinton. Matt spent the summer of 2008 on campus at Bucknell working on the completion of the passive-dymnamic walker built as a senior design project in '06-'07. During the '08-'09 academic year Matt worked on testing and the series elastic actuators and that summer he went with Daniel Synder to Pensacola, FL to work on the first iteration of a robot head at IHMC.

Currently, Matt is part of the senior design team working on the latest iteration of the robot head.
