Biography

Daniel Snyder is a Senior mechanical engineering major at Bucknell University and will be graduating in May 2010. His introduction into the Urban Robotics project began his sophomore year, researching computer modelling software developed specifically for robotic applications.  In the summer of 2008, Daniel spent a few weeks modelling a passive-dynamic walker in Yobotics! Simulation Construction Set.  In the summer of 2009, he was given the opportunity to work at IHMC in Pensacola, FL on the first iteration of the stable vision platform.  More recently, he helped assemble and configure the Bucknell University PC104 computer stack for the second iteration of the vision head.

Daniel was not part of the Senior Design group for the second iteration, choosing instead to be a member of the Bucknell University SAE Baja race team. Daniel plans to enter the work-force in July 2010.  He plans to pursue a Master's degree after a few years of working in industry.
